I feel like I’ve been on a rollercoaster lately. From the second I open my eyes, I begin zooming through life. Running around town, driving my son back and forth to school and all his extracurricular activities, picking up groceries from Walmart, taking my mom to her appointments, cleaning the house, getting my recipes done, and photographing has all become the norm. I do it all happily—knowing that at the end of the day, I will have my sobremesa time to unwind and relax with my family over a cup of NESCAFÉ® CLÁSICO™
I look forward to the moment the sun starts to set, when the static of my day begins to fade away and I know it is time to reconnect with my loved ones. My departed grandfather would always express how vital it was for the family to regroup in the evening hours as he would stir a spoonful of NESCAFÉ® CLÁSICO Decaf into his hot water. We would meet in any corner of the house with pan dulce and a little cup of cafecito and spill over the details of our day. When our coffee talk was done, he would say “Momentos Hermosos!”
These sobremesa connections are something I completely treasure at this point in my life. I love snuggling up on the couch with my family or friends and chatting or dreaming up new ideas. There is something about holding my hot, flavorful, and rich cup of Nescafé Clásico that feels like my heart is home, no matter where I’m at.
When I know my Mom will be joining the coffee gathering, which is more often than not, I make a little tray of coffee ice cubes for her. She likes to drop a Nescafé Clásico ice cube in her coffee to bring it down to the perfect temperature for her to drink without diluting it. She has no patience in waiting for it to cool; the second she smells that flavorful aroma, she has to have it that second. Since I love my Momma, she gets what she wants.
In addition to all the happiness Nescafé Clásico brings me, I’m always surprised at how reasonably it’s priced. 100 cups per bottle, and it comes to $.06 a cup for 100% pure coffee!!!!!
