I’m a woman that loves staying in for the night playing fantastic music and eating delicious food. A few weeks ago I got an advanced copy of Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Juanes (which is out May 3rd on CMH Label Group). The album features gorgeous, lullaby versions of Juanes best-known and beloved cuts. I know the album is intended for babies, but it is so easy on the ears and really plays to the baby soul in me.

Are you one of those people that never want to make salad for whatever reason? The thought of making salad RARELY appeals to me, because I don’t think it’s going to be satisfying enough as a meal. Then the second it’s done and I’m eating it, I can’t believe how delicious it is and promise myself to eat a beautiful salad as such EVERYDAY! Ahhhh the vicious salad cycle.

One of my dearest girlfriend Monique is vegan. For her birthday (April 17th) this year she called and said to me “I don’t want you to buy me anything for my birthday, all I want is for you to make me a vegan dessert.” I said “Do you have something in particular in mind?” She said “Nope, just make me something for my birthday.” The first thing I thought was vegan brownie oreo cupcakes.

I’m heading up to the Bay Area to visit my family for Spring Break, but before I go I must leave you with these delicious White Chocolate Strawberry Sandwich Cookies.
