Try to imagine the sound of a hundred little lady-bugs on a marching line playing snare drums, slightly out of sync. That’s what the rain sounds like when it hits the awning outside my window. I wait for that sound because when I hear it, that means it’s time to get cozy. I woke up to the lady-bugs drumming this morning and thought I would love to have some soup to accompany the musical rain. The problem is that I just don’t have the time today to put hours into making one. I was a little bummed but then I remembered I had a few packs of Bertolli’s soup in my freezer. Thats right, I said soup in the freezer…. and they’re yummy.
Bertolli is now making a wonderful variety of frozen traditional Italian soups. What I find interesting is the way they are packaged. All of the vegetables are hand chopped then flash frozen individually, so they are fresh and picked at the height of their ripeness. The pasta is cooked to perfection and not mushy at all. The super cool part is the broth, it’s packaged in little ice cubes. Nice. Put it all in a pot with a cup of water and simmer for 10 minutes…. PRESTO your done! Soup for two.
Would you like a chance to try this gorgeous soup for yourself? If you said YES….. I have a giveaway for you to enter. This giveaway will run till October 30th. Winner will be notified on the 31st before noon. Prize includes…..

You just took me back! I remember the house I grew up had metal awnings. I had one above my bedroom window. And I loved the sound of the rain hitting it. When I moved out, I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I went to Puerto Rico. And I had forgotten about that beautiful sound, until just now. Thank you 🙂
I have seen this in the market but was hesitant. I would love to try it!
I love soup! And I saw these at the market the other day, caught my eye and decided I’d come back go to try them another day.
I havent tried the Bertollis brand of soups before but, after reading your blog I am sure that I will like it and definetly willing to give it a try. The one that caught my eye would have to be the Tuscan sun dried tomatoe or minestrone. Hopefully I will win the contest to get the chance at trying more flavors.
OMAGOSH! I like it! They do have very good pasta for reals!
Frozen soup is amazing especially if I didn’t have to make it ahead of time! LOL
i love lady bugs and am fortunate enough to have them land on me all the time! okay, well not all the time, but enough to make me smile. i had no idea Bertolli came out with a line of soup! how fantastic. y conjelada! Who’d think of that! score. i use their pasta sauces when I’m a bit lazy to make my own.
Nice…I have seen Bertolli products. I did not know that they made frozen soups. My thoughts on frozen soups…hey I am willing to try them. I think they migh even taste better than canned soups. When I have left over soup I usually freeze the rest for a later time. Still tates good. Thanks.

As the cold weather is approaching this is cuddle up time and what better food than soup. I like frozen soup easy to use and not wasteful!
I love soup! I get excited when it turns a little cold, and I know it’s soup time! I love to make soup! I make a big pot of soup and freeze leftovers. It’s great to enjoy homemade soup a few days later. I am not sure about store-bought frozen soup. But if it is as great as fresh homemade soup, then I would like to try it because I don’t always have the time to make a pot of soup. We always buy Bertolli olive oil – it’s the best! So I really would trust trying the soup.
I use frozen soup especially when I am in a hurry to make supper thanks
