We are definitely already in the Halloween spirit here in my house. We kicked off the start of October with a non-scare visit to Knott’s Camp Spooky! It is such a fun event for elementary school aged kids to participate in. The way I see it, my little guy is only going to be little once so as much Halloween fun we could pack in the better, and me…. I love all the Knott’s sweets (as you can tell from my picture above). So last Saturday my comadre Liz, and little godchild/cousin joined Max and I for a trip to Knott’s Spooky Farm and we just had a great time. The kids took part in “Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Dance Party” and we also visited the Camp Spooky Theatre for “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown.” Let’s not forget the Trick-or-Treating in Ghost Town. We even stopped in at the “Spooky Hollow Maze” and the kids ran through a spooky forest with gigantic jack-o-lanterns and screamed when they saw the headless horseman! Okay there was a little bit of a scare, but overall we had a fantastic time. The kids really enjoyed themselves and at the end of the day my comadre Liz says to me “I think I’m going to get the season pass, it’s only $9 per person made in 9 payments.” My head almost spinned off my body when I heard how affordable that is. In that case I said “I should get some too, so we could meet up….that’s too good of a deal to pass up.”
I guess I’ll be able to take more photos like the ones below in our upcoming visits!
